Bit was called Vajurila-FF in the Japanese version, and Byte was called Mandrella-BB. Strangely, their equally-bizarre fused name, Godkarmachine-O-Inari, was NOT changed for the English language version.
In the game, it's possible to jump ON the surface of water. Whether this is a glitch or intentionally placed in the game by the programmers is unknown.
The fused form of Bit and Byte is called Godkarmachine-O-Inari.
Although originally released for the Super Nintendo, a 32-bit version of the game was released in Japan, featuring improved sound quality and anime-style cut scenes. This "enhanced" version of the game is the version included in the Mega Man X collection.
Zero only has one life, and can NOT fight bosses/mini-bosses. If he dies, he's gone for good and CAN NOT come back.
