A determined girl as the principal figure
deickemeyer4 April 2016
Here is a Western ranch story with a determined girl as the principal figure. A couple want to marry, but her father will not consent until the young man's herd is a third as large as his own. The brands are very similar. Shortly the elder gentleman begins to miss cattle and they suspect the young man of rustling them. He is accused, but denies the accusation and offers to help run down the culprit. When they follow the rustler they discover it to be the girl. The father, impressed with her determination, gives his consent to the wedding and the blotting of the brand ceases. - The Moving Picture World, September 2, 1911
