Try to think for yourself instead of trying to please everyone.
"Roba" is an early Japanese cartoon that is a retelling of the old Aesop fable "The man, the Boy, and the Donkey" and it's pretty faithful to the story. It can be found on the website for Japanese Animated Film Classics, where they have several dozen Japanese cartoons from the 1910s-1930s with English subtitles.
The story begins with a man and his son taking their donkey to market to sell it. When they come upon people during this walk, they pair seem to be swayed by whatever these folks say. For example, when one says that it's silly for the pair to walk when one could ride the donkey, the man soon insists his son ride. Then, when someone sees this, they say what a shame it is that a young man would make his father walk...so they switch. This sort of thing goes on and one until ultimately they lose the donkey due to their desire to please everyone.
This is reasonably well animated and tells the story well. Not much more to add about this one.
