- This cartoon would at few times contain some mild sexual references. Main character Frankie usually wears an outfit that exposes a little of her midriff; in some episodes she is seen in more revealing outfits such as a bikini. In one episode her grandmother Madam Foster is implied to be naked, with her hair billowing out and serving to obscure anything.
- In one episode Mac calls Mr. Herriman "Mr. No-pants" which leads Mr. Herriman to freak out and start wearing pants.
Violence & Gore

- This show is known to have some bullying in several episodes, as some involving sibling rivalries between Mac and Terrance.
- Some slapstick moments may happen in many episodes, it is not on the same level like "Ed, Edd 'n Eddy" but some might get a little over the top and gets hurt.
Profanity

- In "Destination: Imagination", in one scene in the film Bloo says "You peeved him off, that's what's happening!", however according to the character's voice actor, he misread the word as "Pissed". Subtitles for the movie also use "Pissed", and it can be easy to make out the error.
- In World Wide Wabbit Frankie says Shut up, shut up, shut up! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!
- Some characters act brash at times.
- Some minor insults are used but are never anything big. There are many uses of lighter versions of milder language.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- There are no illegal drug usage in this cartoon at all. However, there are mild references in few episodes, like Bloo is seen using a bubble pipe in one episode.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Very childlike and heartwarming show.
- The last episode, "Goodbye to Bloo", may be depressing for some viewers. Oh man everyone miss the TV show.
- The first 3 episodes of the series shows a little more serious tone.

Sex & Nudity
- In one episode of "Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree" when Mac becomes crazy for sugar he runs so fast that his clothes falls out and appears nude, but nothing inappropriate is shown he then later gets covered with a blanket.
