A masterpiece of sword fighting and story telling. A meticulously crafted small sword fight which takes place in France in the year 1710 between two gentlemen over the love of one woman. The fight is breath taking and brilliantly executed. The attention to detail and the location of the piece are equally noteworthy. The camera work in the action sequences is innovative and allows the sword work and the characters physicality to tell the story. I highly recommend this short film for any sword or history buff, for those who enjoy breathtaking action sequences and those who can appreciate the meticulous attention to detail that is required to watching a great fencing match, let alone a fight of passion, skill and pride. Le Defi is an indieflix movie and has been praised at film festivals in cities around the country.
