So, I do not normally review things on here, as I oft do it for a living for the site Monkeys Fighting Robots, currently. That being said, no one else has review it, but has given it crap for reviews. I find this to be unfair.
While it is not perfect, for what it is and the seemingly limited Indie budget it possesses, it is quite good. The atmosphere and editing are solid. The music and sound effects create a tense creepy atmosphere, and the music and effects feel first rate. However, it is not perfect.
There young boy's motivations are very lacking, even for a short film, and the ending was effective and creepy, but it felt like it there should have a few more minutes. The rings were not adequately explained either.
Despite these flaws, I would still recommend it to most any horror fan, and especially if you like his story 'Darkness Falls.'
