Following the release of images from the film, Netflix have debuted the first trailer for war drama Sand Castle, which stars Nicholas Hoult, Henry Cavill, Logan Marshall-Green, Glen Powell, Beau Knapp, and Neil Brown Jr. From a powerful and personal script by screenwriter Chris Roessner who was inspired by his experiences in Iraq, Sand Castle is a depiction of the Second Gulf War told through the eyes of a group of American soldiers on the front lines.

Bearing witness to the heat and the horror is the inexperienced Private Matt Ocre (Nicholas Hoult), who together with several fellow soldiers is ordered to the outskirts of Baqubah to repair a water pumping station damaged by U.S. bombs. Netflix isn't done showing us what other projects they have coming out soon. Like I said, Netflix is ushering in a whole new era of entertainment. Just look at all of the trailers they've released in the past few days and the level of talent they are working with. It's awesome!
They've just released a trailer for a war drama they produced called Sand Castle, which stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Nicholas Hoult (X-Men). The film is based on a true story, and it looks like great film filled with intensity.

Sand Castle, Fernando Coimbra’s intense drama set against the height of the second Gulf War, is one of many, many high-profile war dramas on the verge of release. There’s The Wall starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena, not to mention the Armie Hammer-led Mine, which chronicles one soldier’s desperate attempt at surviving on his lonesome in the Iraqi desert, battling sun, sand, enemy forces and crippling hallucinations.
For Sand Castle, it’s a little different. Headed up by Nicholas Hoult, Logan Marshall-Green and the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, Fernando Coimbra and Netflix’s wartime thriller thrusts our three leading soldiers smack bang in the middle of a flashpoint. Dispatched on a mission to repair a crucial water line blown to smithereens by U.S. bombs, Coimbra’s military men find themselves under attack by a group of extremists.

We are, at the time of writing, one week shy from October and with it, the beginning of Halloween celebrations across the globe. Such festive activities often feed into a studio’s scheduling, explaining why there’s practically always some form of Blumhouse horror pic crowding up theaters year in, year out.
Hopping aboard that gravy train this year is Wgn America, after conjuring up a new trailer for Salem season 3 during the week. Hatched by Brannon Braga and Adam Simon, the network’s horror series is veering into an all-new chapter that “dawns with the triumph of the witches’ plan to remake the New World by bringing the devil to earth and making Salem his capital. But the devil is a liar, and instead of a New World free from murderous Puritan hypocrisy, his own plan will bring nothing but death and slavery with the ultimate aim of leading humanity to destroy itself.

"Joan Churchill is a complete filmmaker who has earned the respect of her peers and made a difference in the world," IDA president Richard Propper said. "She exemplifies the values and spirit of nonfiction filmmakers around the world."...
