When wild horse Trixie keeps opening the gates and freeing horses, ranch owner Molly Malone hires Jimmy Adams to deal with the problem. When he tames Trixie, however, jealous ranch hands tie him up and kidnap Molly, so it's Trixie to the rescue!
There were several Wonder Horses at the moment. Rex was starring in a mostly straight dramatic feature for competitor Hal Roach, so the Christie Brothers may have intended this as a spoof. It's a pretty good effort. Most of the Christie shorts seemed to have just enough plots to get from one joke to the next, but this one actually has a story, as well as Hank Mann as Jimmy's valet to offer a couple of nicely executed gag.
