French horror short runs just six minutes but those six minutes are full of violence and gore. A thief breaks into the house of a famous old man who makes infomercials and kills him. While searching the house for the old man's money, a commercial from the old man playing on television begins to come to life and take revenge. This is a rather strange but fun mix of The Twilight Zone with the gore from the 80's slasher genre. The film seems to be paying homage to various horror films including The Evil Dead. The cinematography is quite nice and director Morin handles the material very well. There's also some great humor to mix in with all the gore. As for the gore, well, there's plenty of gore here to keep your mouth watering. There's a terrific scene with a can opener playing on the commercial but I won't ruin what it does to the thief.
