What a whirlwind. “Chucky” Season 3 let the killer doll loose in the White House, where he unleashed multiple bloodbaths, temporarily gained control of the nuclear weapons, and even faced his greatest fear, death, along with the wrath of Damballa. The season finale, appropriately titled “Final Destination,” has a lot of ground to cover, yet Chucky (Brad Dourif) is still running amok in the spirit realm while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) hopes for one final Hail Mary to escape death. Luckily, the super-sized episode packs in the revelations while tying up the season’s loose ends and paying tribute to the franchise’s past. It all makes for a satisfying capper to another delightfully unhinged season.
While “Final Destination” hits the ground running with explosive action, it also doesn’t waste any time exploring the aftermath of Jake Wheeler (Zackary Arthur) choosing to die temporarily in the hopes of finding Caroline (Carina Battrick...

The wild and crazy third season of Don Mancini’s “Chucky” comes to an end with one more brand new episode this week, and the Season 3 finale is fittingly titled “Final Destination.”
We’ll be introduced to Chucky’s (literal) maker in this week’s “Final Destination,” with John Waters returning to the franchise to play Wendell Wilkins, the creator of the Good Guys.
But that’s not all. We’re also going on a twisted trip into Chucky’s Spirit Realm…
Last week’s second-to-last episode was a shocker, with Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) being put to death by lethal injection and Jake (Zackary Arthur) agreeing to a lethal injection of his own. Jake’s plan is to temporarily die so he can pay a visit to Charles Lee Ray in the Spirit Realm, planning to extract information about Caroline’s whereabouts and kill Chucky once and for all.

One thing that’s been made clear about the “Chucky” franchise is that the character can shine in any situation, with Don Mancini’s recent movies and television series thus far thrusting him into a psychiatric hospital, a Catholic school, and even the White House. While we wait for the return of “Chucky” Season 3 this year, we can’t help but wonder where he’s going next.
How about Chucky… in Space?!
Don Mancini has joked about sending the killer doll to outer space in the past, noting back in 2021 that Chucky is “such a versatile character.” Mancini also said at the time, “We’ve found that he operates successfully in all kinds of different tones and subgenres, whether it’s horror, or comedy, places in between. So I think as a character he’s versatile enough and appealing enough and interesting enough that he could probably go anywhere…even into outer space.

Tom Holland's 1988 film "Child's Play" was about a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) who was fatally wounded by a cop (Chris Sarandon) during a shootout in a toy warehouse. As he lay dying, Charles, a.k.a. Chucky, used voodoo magic to shunt his consciousness into a nearby Good Guy doll, a talking plastic child about a foot tall. In the body of the doll, Chucky continues his reign of terror. "Child's Play" was clearly a spoof of the Cabbage Patch Kids phenomenon a few years previous, positing that the year's difficult-to-obtain ultra-hot Christmas toy could possibly contain the soul of a murderer.
To date, there have been six sequels to "Child's Play," a remake, and a spinoff series called "Chucky," which concluded part one of its third season in October of 2023. The series became increasingly wild as it went on, tilting heavily into camp and comedy.

Happy birthday to our favorite beautiful bouncing killer baby boy! Bride of Chucky turned 25 in October. So Happy birthday, Chucky! Happy birthday, Tiffany! Happy birthday to my very favorite film in Don Mancini’s absolutely killer Child’s Play series: Bride of Chucky! It’s a film that I personally find to be a ton of fun. The kills are great, the humor is on point, and it’s just a joy to watch from start to finish. But Bride of Chucky also marks an important turning point in the trajectory of the Child’s Play franchise.
After Child’s Play 3 was released in 1991, it seemed as though the series had run its course. Chucky had terrorized Andy through multiple films, followed him to a foster home and again to military school, only to be vanquished time and time again before he was able to transfer his soul to another human body.

Hollywood actor John Stamos was seemingly not a huge fan of the Olsen twins on ‘Full House’. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were cast in the role of Michelle Tanner when they were infants, which made it difficult for Stamos as the girls kept crying, reports ‘Deadline’.
“We’re doing the scene. Joey and I were changing the baby, right? And Danny’s gone and said, ‘Take care of the kids’. ‘Yeah, we got it. We got it’,” Stamos said during an appearance on the Good Guys podcast.
“So, we’re carrying the baby downstairs and we take her in the kitchen and we hose her down. And she was screaming. Both of them. They wanted to be anywhere else but there, and so did I.”
Stamos continued: “They were 11 months old, and god bless them. They kept switching: ‘This one’s not gonna cry’. I couldn’t deal with it.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joined the cast of Full House when they were less than a year old, but the twins’ behaviour led to star John Stamos demanding they be fired. That’s a little harsh there, Stamos.

It's been nearly 28 years since "Full House" came to an end, but we're only now finding out that John Stamos reportedly had the Olsen twins fired from the beloved ABC sitcom - well, just temporarily. While appearing on Josh Peck's Good Guys podcast on Monday, the 59-year-old father of one claimed that he had Mary-Kate and Ashley fired after they wouldn't stop crying during one of their first scenes together. Mary-Kate and Ashley, who famously played Michelle Tanner, were 11 months at the time.
"I couldn't deal with it. I said, 'This is not gonna work, guys,' and I screamed it 10 times. I said, 'Get rid of them, I can't work like this,'" Stamos recalled. "So they got rid of them." Stamos said the show replaced the Olsen twins with "two red-headed kids," adding, "I'm sure their parents loved them and thought they were attractive. . . It had nothing to do with [them being] red-headed,...

John Stamos revealed on the “Good Guys” podcast (via Insider) that he had Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen booted from “Full House” when they were 11 months old as their persistent crying on set drove him crazy. The firing only lasted a couple of days, as the replacement babies for the Olsen twins proved even worse to be around. Stamos, who played Jesse Katsopolis on all eight seasons of “Full House,” was filming a scene where his character and Dave Coulier’s Joey change Michelle Tanner’s diaper. The Olsen twins switched off playing Michelle during the show’s run.
“We’re doing the scene. Joey and I were changing the baby, right? And Danny [Bob Saget] is gone and said, ‘Take care of the kids.’ ‘Yeah, we got it. We got it,'” Stamos said. “So, we’re carrying the baby downstairs and we take her in the kitchen and we hose her down.

In the early days of “Full House”, John Stamos got Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired, temporarily of course.
The Olsen twins, now 36, both starred as the adorable Michelle Tanner on the beloved sitcom, beginning at 11-months-old when the show began filming. They took turns playing Jesse Katsopolis’ (Stamos) niece up until the age of seven when the finale aired back in May 1995 after an eight-season run.
While appearing on the latest episode of Dear Media’s “Good Guys” podcast, Stamos explained that he unintentionally got the then-toddlers fired.

We've all been fans of Hilary Duff ever since her "Lizzie McGuire" days in the early 2000s. It's hard to believe she's gone from playing a 13-year-old in the classic Disney Channel show to playing a soon-to-be mom of one in the Hulu "How I Met Your Mother" spinoff, "How I Met Your Father" - all in the span of 20 years. In that time, she also became a mom of three children in real life, and we love following along with her real-life children just as much as we like to theorize about who her her onscreen son's father is in "Himyf."
Duff had her first child, a son named Luca Cruz Comrie, with first husband, Mike Comrie, in 2012 when she was 24 years old, which some thought was young. Still, Duff says she always knew she was ready to be a mom. "I think that I was just really ready,...

The final episode of the second season of "Star Trek: Enterprise" and the first episode of its third season -- titled "The Expanse" and "The Xindi", respectively -- centered on a new "Star Trek" story arc about a mysterious spherical probe that appears over Earth and unleashed a deadly energy beam that destroys the state of Florida and kills seven million people. The attackers did not identify themselves, and Earth was not at war. This terrorist incident changed the course of the series, and Captain Archer (Scott Bakula) was assigned a revenge-based military mission to track down the assailants and bring them to justice. It was very clearly a metaphor for 9/11, an event that "Enterprise" was always living in the shadow of.
Previously adhering to a more traditional drama-of-the-week structure, "Enterprise" dramatically shifted gears, diving into a season-long story arc. Some Trekkies found the shift to be exciting new territory for "Enterprise,...

Both in their mid-thirties, Hilary Duff and Josh Peck are learning how to balance their acting careers with parenthood. However, just two decades ago, the pair were both trying to navigate their complex lives as young actors. While their lives share many parallels, Peck has made it clear that he and Duff are very different kinds of child stars for one specific reason.
Josh Peck and Hilary Duff had different experiences as child stars
In the early 2000s, Josh Peck and Hilary Duff were teens thrust into stardom. While the two were both child actors in the late 1990s, they both were able to rise to prominence after landing leading roles on hit kid’s sitcoms. For Peck, his big break came after landing a starring role on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Drake & Josh. Peck portrayed the lovable Josh Nichols, from 2004 to 2007, alongside his on-screen step-brother Drake Parker, played by Drake Bell.

For young people coming of age in the early 2000s, Hilary Duff is a true pop culture icon. She rose to prominence on the Disney Channel, playing the title character in the beloved series Lizzie McGuire. And she also began a music career.
These days, Duff is still a hardworking actor. Her new series, How I Met Your Father, has earned critical acclaim. While she has always been popular, she hasn’t always received support. In a recent interview with Josh Peck, Duff admitted that Disney didn’t fully support her in her ambitions of becoming a singer.

Although Hilary Duff shot to fame playing Lizzie McGuire on the hit Disney TV series, there came a point when she wanted to detach herself from being known as the beloved titular teenage character.
As soon as Duff wrapped the series, which “shot incredibly fast” for only two seasons, she told Josh Peck and Ben Soffer on this week’s episode of Dear Media’s “Good Guys” podcast that she “wanted to sing.”
“I really didn’t want to be Lizzie McGuire anymore, as cool as it was,” Duff admitted.
“For so long people were just like ‘Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie’ and still now to this day, which it doesn’t bother me anymore but it did for a while like I just desperately needed to be my own person,” she explained. “I think that I thought music was gonna be a good way to introduce myself- reintroduce myself- and it was.

Everyone's favorite homicidal doll is ready for a play date! Thirty years after the release of Tom Holland's Child's Play in 1988, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has fast-tracked a remake and we were recently blessed with not only a trailer, but a few posters. By all accounts, Polaroid filmmaker Lars Klevberg is making sure that the horror reboot is just as horrifying (and horrifyingly tongue-in-cheek) as its predecessor.
Child's Play was the first of a seven-movie franchise that told the story of Chucky, a toy doll possessed by the soul of a serial killer. If you've seen the film, you no doubt remember the chills that shot down your spine when he first uttered his iconic phrase, "Hi, I'm Chucky. Wanna play?" Chucky then goes on a murderous rampage in an attempt to kill a single mom and her son so he can jump into the son's body before he becomes trapped inside the doll permanently.
