It was hard to play such a role as Miss Bush fills in this picture without sentimentality
Miss Pauline Bush plays, in this interesting and very well photographed picture, the role of an invalid who is wheeled about in her chair. A starving fugitive outlaw (Mr. Kerrigan), chased by the sheriff (Richardson) and posse, passes near where she is resting. His plight stirs her pity, and her kindness and sympathy stirs his manhood. A dramatic love story, in which the doctor aids, and the girl's death and the outlaw's death follow. It was hard to play such a role as Miss Bush fills in this picture without sentimentality; but she handles the situation with much skill. The result is a very vivid and powerful picture. - The Moving Picture World, June 1, 1912
