Hilarious!

At last, the long lost Dexter short is here! In this cartoon, Dexter has become fed up with Dee Dee's rudeness, and has invented a machine that extracts people's rudeness from them. However, due to Dee Dee's usual shenanigans, both her AND Dexter get accidentally tossed into the machine. Their rudeness is extracted and creates two alternate versions of themselves - A good and polite Dexter and Dee Dee, and a bad and rude Dexter and Dee Dee. The rude versions swear, are selfish and are just rude in general. One of the funniest points is when rude Dexter tells polite Dexter "Eh, f!ck off!" Its so sudden and abrupt. They also terrorize their Mom which results in a very funny scene. Based on the animation and art style, it looks as if it were produced near the end of Season 1, or the beginning of Season 2. To sum up, this short was much better than I expected. I highly recommend it to fans of Dexter's Lab and witty animation!

At last the Long-Lost Episode is here!
Theraxorterminate9 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Now this episode was extremely anticipated and notorious to see! I remember finding about this short on Wikipedia about a few years back and I never really thought it would ever be released because there wasn't any kinds of signs that Genndy would show this yet. But then finally last year we were finally able to see it for the first time online!

OK so how was it? Well Dexter's Lab used to be one of my favorite cartoons when I was younger and I never expected this episode to be produced. But then this episode is really good, not only classic but both hilarious and a bit more original. What do I mean with original? Well remember the "Spongebob Squarepants" episode "Sailor Mouth"? Now I believe that episode wasn't the first one to use excessive strong language with censors to entertain people. The censor here on "Rude Removal" uses the normal bleeping and it even makes it more funnier.

Although I have to admit that I was also quite shocked to see how there was an episode to use strong language and it left me with questions. But that doesn't mean that I thought this episode was annoying to look at. The lost episode is fun to watch and I would recommend any Dexter's Lab fans to see it.

The infamous "banned episode" from Dexter's Laboratory.

Warning: Spoilers
Of course this might seem completely tamed in a post-South Park world, now that cable shows have practically broken almost every single censorship boundary. (South Park itself has showed how big deal it used to be for cable shows to include even minor profanities in the episode "It Hits the Fan")

However, back then, making an episode with this type of humor in a kids' show would have been something unthinkable, despite the bleeps. Unsurprisingly, the episode was never aired, creating a certain "urban legend" status surrounding it before it finally was officially released to the public (On Adult Swim)

If it feels like a regular episode from the series, is because it was originally intended as such. Which I say, was a rather daring move from the animators, showing how 90s cartoons were not afraid to venture into a riskier territories. Very good times.

Offensive, Disgusting and Painful to Watch

Just because this is a "Dexter's Laboratory" episode, do not let it fool you. This is a disgusting, foul-mouthed, offensive disgrace disguised as it and I am shocked that Genndy Tartakovsky had the nerve to even make this thing. It feels like a horrible "Robot Chicken" skit, (don't get me started on THAT show), and "Family Guy" rolled into one. Don't get me started on "that" show, either. I know that this was an in-house project created as a gag for the real "Dexter's Lab," but I'm not giving this piece of garbage any excuses. It is absolutely terrible. Even its title card is revolting to look at. When I first saw the title card while watching it on YouTube, I was beyond outraged. The whole short is a complete, utter mess, with stereotypical, unfunny jokes, and a ridiculous amount of swearing. Thank goodness, it is bleeped out. Leonardo DiCaprio's "Titanic" is more child-friendly than this.

I don't care if "Rude Removal" is a "Dexter" short. In my personal opinion, it should have never been made or brought to television. It should have been thrown into the garbage where it belongs.

Rating: 1/10. (Like "Fritz the Cat," it doesn't deserve a chance).
