A great live performance
waterontheknee1 March 2006
This DVD is truly one of Coheed and Cambria's live performances. It captures the energy of all of the band members through each song, and just gives an awe inspiring look at how much work these boys actually do. The performance was filmed at the Starland Ballroom (obviously) in Sayreville, New Jersey, on August 20th, 2004. For anyone who has ever seen Coheed live, they know what to expect, and this DVD is no different, the 11 song set contains some of their best works off of their first two studio albums, opening of course with "In keeping secrets of silent earth: 3" and closing the set with "Everything Evil", that is of course, until Claudio returns. The final song of the performance, "The Light and the Glass" is truly one of the best songs, and to watch it be performed by Claudio by himself is one that will make your jaw drop. The acoustic guitar just adds to the effect of this wonderful ballad. A must have for all Coheed Fans

Speechless
This concert DVD was made with the home theater experience in mind. It has 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound. Picture this(if you have surround sound): You hear Coheeds Guitars from the FL and FR speakers, Claudios voice from the FM speaker and the crowd from the RR AND RL speakers. Its like you are really there. The guitars sound so good. The camera works is superb, it focus on their guitar playing and them not the crowd like other concert dvds. This is one concert DVD that is a must have. IT also contains three music videos and four live performances from the 2004 Skate and Surf Festival. It has all their best songs IKSOSE:3, Favor House Atlantic, Devil in Jersy City, Crowing, Three Evils, Everything Evil, Delirium Trigger.

Awesome concert, HORRIBLE sound quality

Warning: Spoilers
I am a Coheed and Cambria fan, and I was excited to get this. This is an awesome concert. It was taken from the performance at New York's Starland Ballroom. Whilst a little short (58 minutes???), I enjoyed it very much. The setlist is as follows:

In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Delirium Trigger, A Favor House Atlantic, The Crowing, Devil in Jersey City, Blood Red Summer, Time Consumer (The best sounding, IMO), Three Evils Embodied in Love and Shadow, Everything Evil, The Light and the Glass.

I was blown away by the performance. It is short, but so much happens in so little time. The scene near the end where Claudio performs The Light and the Glass on his own was amazing.

The Sound quality, on the other had doesn't do it justice. The 2.0 PCM stereo (I hate to say it) sounds much better. The 5.1 version I couldn't hear Claudio's voice, so I switched it to stereo, and ta-dah! I could Claudio's voice!

Overall, good performance. This proves Coheed's talent live.
