Prison Break is back for, well, another prison break.
Eight years after Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) died — well, supposedly died — the tatted former inmate of Fox River returns in an Odyssey-inspired tale where he desperately plots another prison break, this time from a Yemeni jail, in order to reunite with his brother Lincoln (Dominic Purcell), former wife Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies), and the son he’s never met. The question isn’t whether he’ll escape, but if the Prison Break reboot can recapture the magic of the original. Creator...

The weight of the world is on Clarke Griffin's shoulders yet again.
When The 100 Season 4 Episode 1 picked up, mere moments had passed since the conclusion of The 100 Season 3 Finale. The season-long foe had been successfully defeated – but not before Commander Ontari was killed and Alie had imparted some disturbing information about the fate of mankind.
TV Fanatics Yana Grebenyuk and Allison Nichols are joined by Lauren Busser and Samantha Coley from Tell-Tale TV, to discuss everything that went down in the explosive finale.
Check out their thoughts, and chime in with your own by leaving us a comment below. Be sure to tune in for The 100 Season 4 Episode 2 on Wednesday, February 8th at 9/8c on The CW.
Roan is now (~tentatively~) in charge of the grounder coalition and demanded peace with the Sky People. How does this bode for everyone? And will it last?

Premiering at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival where it went home empty handed from the Jane Campion headed jury, Belgian directing duo Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne continue their more recent trend of working with critically acclaimed French actresses, concocting one of their most emotionally potent titles to date, Two Days, One Night. Star Marion Cotillard would lose twice to American actress Julianne Moore in the international awards area, who trumped her at Cannes for Maps to the Stars and at the Academy Awards for Still Alice. Still, it’s an increasingly intense boil of a performance, ranging from quiet desperation to an act of selfless defiance that will transcend the trappings of any such contemporary award recognition.
Married and a mother of two, Sandra (Cotillard) has recently returned to work after a period of sick leave following a bout of depression. In her absence, management at Solwal, a local solar panel company,...

Well, sometimes some confusion can be a good thing. When I was first aware of this film’s title, I thought that this may be a remake/reboot of the 1989 Peter Weller starring monster thriller with a massive CGI beastie akin to those from Pacific Rim or last Summer’s retooled Godzilla. Seems I was mistaken. Leviathan doesn’t concern itself with a colossal rampaging demon risen from the depths, but rather it’s a complex drama set in a dreary, Russian fishing village (yes, it has subtitles). The title doesn’t refer to a scaly giant that the film’s heroes must face. They instead must square off against an even more formidable adversary, for this leviathan is comprised not of claws and fangs, but corruption and the cruelties of fate itself.
The story begins as the sun rises over that Russian village, as Nikolay (Aleksey Serebryakov) heads away...

Earlier this year, we got a haunting preview of the latest album by Italian electro-rock unit Army of the Universe, in the form of the Ep Until the End – featuring a guest vocal by Chibi of The Birthday Massacre and a chillingly sensual music video. The band has finally delivered the goods promised in that enticing peek, as The Hipster Sacrifice hits the streets today. Since their scary good 2011 debut Mother Ignorance, the lineup that began with internationally-acclaimed electronic music producer Albert “Trebla” Vorne, vocalist Lord Kalidon (Kult of the Skull God) and guitarist Dave Tavecchia has since added the legendary Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Tweaker) to their ranks as drummer. The result is a bigger, more dangerous sound built on the same tight and simple framework of old-school synths, heavy beats and knife-edged guitars, which leaves plenty of room for sonic experimentation – something they indulge frequently on this record.

Italian gothic electro-rockers Army of the Universe first burst into the spotlight with their superb debut album Mother Ignorance, which also featured the slick and sexy vampiric visuals of their video “Lovedead” (check out our review and the video here). That album served a rich and spicy dish of catchy hooks with a creepy, otherworldly atmosphere, and I was looking forward to big things from them on this side of the Atlantic. Their follow-up Ep is a major step in that direction: in addition to the band's core lineup of Edm producer Trebla, vocalist Lord K and guitarist Dave Tavecchia, the band now counts industrial music icon Chris Vrenna (who also co-produced Mother Ignorance and whose own band Tweaker scored an honorable mention on our Best Albums of 2012 list) among their official lineup, which is fantastic news in my book. The title track also features guest vocals from Chibi, lead...

On this day, the 20th of August, we celebrate the 50th birthday of actor James Marsters, the man who embodies our very favorite Bad Boy of the Buffyverse: Spike. The blood-drinking, blooming-onion-loving blondie first appeared in Season 2 of “Buffy” but was never intended to become a series regular, much less the Slayer’s devoted lover and tragicomic hero.
“That was something that evolved out of how great James’ performance was,” says writer/producer Marti Noxon, who was partially responsible for Spike’s creation and evolution. “He brought the pain and the emotion to a character that could have been a big joke. We just loved writing for him.”
And we loved watching him. Spike is witty, handsome, romantic, British, and the ultimate representation of the Rock ‘n Roll Vamp. As a birthday gift to Marsters (and a Monday gift to...

After hitting nerd nirvana at Comic-Con, the stars and producers of BBC America’s Doctor Who took center stage at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills on Thursday to dish about secret babies, traveling through time and… Hitler? Ted Williams, the Ohio homeless man who became a YouTube sensation due to his golden radio voice, returned to the CBS Early Show this morning to discuss his roller-coaster ride of sudden fame. Looking polished and more comfortable in front of the cameras, Williams reflected on his emotionally jarring recent experiences, including his decision to leave a Texas rehab center. “It was too much, too fast, and I was just not really focused on what I should be doing,” he said. “I felt scripted. I was doing live phone-ins (to TV shows) from rehab.”

Those of us here at Dread Central who watched last night's episode of "True Blood" entitled "It Hurts Me Too" are still reeling from the closing few moments. Thankfully we have a Post Mortem that focuses on Alcide as we don't even want to think anymore about what's got Bill so twisted up! But if you do, we also have "The Weight of the World", which explores some of the themes uncovered in the ep.
First is "Meet Alcide", in which actor Joe Manganiello and "True Blood" creator Alan Ball talk about werewolf politics and the "reluctant hero," Alcide Herveaux. Below that is the "inside" peek with director Michael Lehmann and writer Alexander Woo.
Ep. 27: Postmortem - Alcide's Introduction
Ep. 27: Inside the Episode
As fans are well aware, the show's taking a break over the July 4th weekend so we won't get our next "True Blood" fix until July 11th,...

There is no doubt (so far) the biggest movie of the summer of 2010 is “Iron Man 2″. It will be a while before “Iron Man 2″ will get knocked off the apex as the king of summer movies. One element of Iron Man 2 I appreciate is the simplicity of its title. Yes, the title is simply “Iron Man 2″. Not “Iron Man 2: The Revenge of Whiplash” or “Iron Man 2: The Teaming Up With War Machine” or “Iron Man 2: The Weight of The World”. Nowadays, it seems like every fan boy movie property Must have a subtitle in its subsequent sequel.
I remember when I first thought this was a ridiculous trend was during the summer of 2003 when Gore Verbinski’s “Pirates of The Carribean: The Curse of The Black Pearl”. I thought to myself, “This is the most ridiculous title I’ve ever heard.

This week kicks off mid-coitus with a bunch of naked entwined limbs.
Usually, I find hetero sex utterly revolting. I know there are straight people in the world – some of them have even been to my house! – but why do they have to be so in our faces with it, you know?
But in this case, I don’t really mind it. Because they’re both hot. Especially “Mmm, Mmm Good” Gilles Marini. Have I mentioned yet that I have a serious thing for him? And Sarah has always been my favorite Walker, so this is all pretty golden.
Plus there’s smoking chemistry between them, as evidenced by how they keep stroking one another throughout the scene, like game show models with Turtle Wax.
As pillow talk usually does (at least on TV), their post-sex conversation turns to “The Future.” Although in my experience, it usually turns to “Whose...
