Straightforward but fun

Warning: Spoilers
SEMI-FRIENDLY PERSUASION is a typical but fun episode of The A-Team, the penultimate of the second season. Once again a quite, peace-loving community is being oppressed by a criminal gang, so the boys come in to put things right. The plot twists and turns as each side variously gains the upper hand, and if the action isn't as prevalent as elsewhere, this moves at a good old pace. Geoffrey Lewis plays at his menacing best while it's nice to see BUCK ROGERS star Tim O'Connor in support.

Semi-Friendly Persuasion

There are elements of Witness in this one.

The A Team come to the rescue of a Quaker type community of farmers led by Karl Peerson.

They are being bullied by Sykes and his goons who do not want his kind in their town.

Peerson's group has trouble getting timber to build a meeting house.

Hannibal agrees to help them but they need to use nonviolent means to satisfy Peerson's support.

However Sykes fights dirty and provokes a strong response from The A Team.

Another episode that takes on the reputation of the show being violent. Murdock would say that's just nuts.
