When the pilot and Hannibal (in disguise) first meet, the pilot tells him to fill up the plain. He then gets straight on the plane, starts it and takes off. There is absolutely no time to fill up.
When the plane is first seen on the ground the tail number is NC 1161 V, then in the air after the oil line is sabotaged the number is N81GB. Back on the ground it is NC1161V.
N81GB is a US registration number which would not be used in Kenya. NC1161V is a false registration number.
The flight that they are on when flying to Kenya would not continue after B.A. became hostile. The pilot would be forced to land due to safety for the other passengers.
