In the opening Charles Hendricks ( John Baragrey ) is shown drinking his morning coffee in their kitchen . The cups and saucers used by him and his wife are identical to the ones used by Steve Forrest and Kathleen Maguire in the restaurant in "The end of Indian summer".
The Hendricks' car is a 1951 Ford sedan.
