- Rita Conway: Okay, but you're asking for trouble, Peter.
- [starts to leave the dark room but turns]
- Rita Conway: And being in trouble all by yourself is a lonely place to be.
- Bonita Gray: [about her ex-husband] We had a couple of large fights, but they blew over when he realized I wasn't going to stay on display like one of his rare coins.
- Cork: I've heard about Spider-Man and I didn't believe it. Now I've seen him and I still don't believe it.
- Weldon Gray: Well, I got a look at his face.
- Cork: Well better you than me. It was probably furry with six eyes.
- Bonita Gray: Look, Lieutenant, if I had anything hidden, I know that your men would find it. I would give it to you before you tore my place apart.
- The Lieutenant: Sure. And Christmas comes on the first and third Sundays of every month.
- The Lieutenant: Of course, you're sure we won't find anything?
- Bonita Gray: Lieutenant, I have not been sure of anything since I was fifteen years old and I'm not about to tell you how long ago that was.
- Weldon Gray: Mr. Parker was here when the robbery occured. They knocked him out.
- Julie Masters: Are you okay?
- Peter Parker: Oh yea-
- [grabs his neck]
- Peter Parker: Yes I am, I just, eh, shouldn't nod my head, it might fall off.
- Julie Masters: Oh, well, don't let that happen, you might need it again.
- Weldon Gray: In the meantime, let me have my coins.
- Cork: Coins?
- Weldon Gray: They're mine, I want them.
- Cork: Oh yeah, them. Sure. You'll get 'em, absolutely, right, Wiley?
- Wiley: When he says something I always believe him. You'd better, too.
- Cork: [about Bonita Gray] Why are you so anxious to pin it on her?
- Weldon Gray: She's nothing. She was in a sleazy café serving over a filthy counter when I first met her.
- Weldon Gray: I made her Mrs. Weldon Gray. Then she left. She walked out on me.
- Cork: [clicks his lips] Shocking. Imagine somebody not wanting to stay with a lovable gentleman like you.
