At one point, Sheridan points to the monitor showing Morden sitting passively in his cell and says that "that man is supposed to be dead." The DVDs for this season of "Babylon 5" have an outtake in the "blooper reels", where, after Bruce Boxleitner delivers this line, Ed Wasser (on the computer monitor) suddenly starts grabbing at his throat as if choking and flailing his arms wildly about, much to the amusement of everyone else on the set - except Boxleitner, who continues delivering his dialogue in character because he isn't facing the computer monitor and doesn't know what Wasser is doing.
The scene where Andrea Thompson slaps Bruce Boxleitner was only shot twice, because Thompson was really belting Boxleitner quite hard. The first take is the one seen in the final print.
This is the first mention of the Ministry of Peace, when Pierce Macabee introduces himself as its representative to Talia Winters. The term "Ministry of Peace" (and its ironic abbreviation) was first used in George Orwell's 1948 novel '1984', where it was the name of the War Ministry. It co-existed with ministries for propaganda (Ministry of Truth, or MiniTru), rationing (Ministry of Plenty, or MiniPlenty) and secret police (Ministry of Love, or MiniLuv).
Sheriden claims that the British knew the city of Coventry was to be bombed in 1940. While this was claimed by a single author it has been shown to be false. The transcripts of the intercepts are available showing that they merely knew there would be a bombing raid somewhere in the UK.
Ambassador Kosh's line "If you go to Z'ha'dum, you will die" was later one of the phrases featured in the opening sequence of Season Five.
