The school teacher accidentally gets hurt and turns the school over to Adam for a couple of weeks. I love how even despite the pain the school teacher still felt like doing Nellie Oleson curls in her hair. I think I'd be worried about being able to wash and brush my hair and the hell with the curls. I also love how Pernell's still showing a bit chest hair as school teacher. I'm sure some of the students loved that. And I'm not being snarky there. It's a shame they didn't show Adam actually teaching to see how many of his students went into heat with such a fine specimen being the teacher for a couple of weeks.
Silliness aside, this is a serious episode. The episode shows the actions people will go to when their misdeeds are coming into the light. Adam gets the crap beaten out of him during one scene. There's actual marks on his face and everything. It's none of this "Mannix" stuff where you're lucky to see a scratch on Mike Connors face after he gets beaten up.
So let's get to that ending. Adam should've known that desperate people aren't gonna just pack it in. This is a guy that was the lone survivor of what happened and he's standing up there fully exposed for a silencing. And it happens. Adam's the only one semi showing this guy attention and even he walks off. So yeah, the ending was kind of on the bizarre side. Thanks for the sacrifice and better luck next time?
