Sid, the not so friendly neighborhood shopkeeper, engages Alan and his dopey friends to work for him as busboys. However, he pays them next to nothing....and, not surprisingly, he gets next to nothing out of the boys. In desperation, he phones Alan's father and asks him to help out as well.
This is just an okay episode. While it's supposed to be about the value of hard work, it's clouded by Sid being a cheap jerk....making the moral a bit fuzzy and confusing. Just an okay episode...with little to recommend it over any other.
