This was a very well acted episode with Iain Cuthbertson also on top form.
It does leave Adam Faith lagging, someone stuck in third gear and could not keep up with his co-stars.
Budgie has been boasting that he is off to to see West Ham play with Charlie Endell and he will be going in style in Charlie's Roller.

They take shelter at a nearby home of a couple from Yorkshire. Mrs & Mrs Broughton who are not pleased to see them. The dad regards that his home has been invaded and threatens to go to the police.
Later their daughter Janet arrives and she gauds his dad to go to a phone and call the police.
When Budgie has a quiet chat with Janet. He learns that the dad is full of bluster. He has turned a blind eye in the past much to her daughter's annoyance.
Apart from the shooting incident, this really is a character piece. Idle threats and the price of silence. A layered story about the Broughtons and Charlie has the dad's measure pretty early on. He might have guessed that there were good reasons why the family moved to London.
As for Budgie once again he does not know when to shut up. Even though he managed to glean some vital information from Janet.
