Cheyenne has never met a woman who's Mormon faith is quite this strong. Enough to drive her cattle to Salt Lake, survive a landslide, an attempted stampede and stop the men who are trying to stop her from saving her ranch and husband.
Roy and Mary Wiley have a ranch in Utah on which they owe a final payment to Rafe Donovan. However, due to the discovery of ore deposits on the land Rafe wants the property back so he is trying to prevent the Wileys from making the payment. His men stampede Roy's cattle severely injuring him. Cheyenne arrives at the Wiley door looking to buy a meal but is met by Mary with a shotgun. He discovers she is pregnant after which she shows him her injured husband. He learns she plans to drive a small herd of cattle to Salt Lake City 50 miles away to sell for the final payment while taking her husband so they can be married in the Mormon Temple as their faith requires for eternal life together. Cheyenne offers to help her as he is headed there but feels their chances are slim. Her faith in God is strong which is displayed on the road as they overcome Rafe's attacks and other problems including Billy the Kid.
