Kidnapping innocence
JordanThomasHall21 February 2019
Eddie is concerned that Mrs. Livingston doesn't have anyone. He suggests his dad should "pollenate" her. A shocked Tom tries to straighten out his son and explain their situation. Eddie brings over a friend, Frank (Mitchell Sakamoto) to "give" Mrs. Livingston as her own son. Tom and Mrs. Livingston have a comical conversation with five-year-old Frank who doesn't understand Japanese, unlike Eddie. Eddie reasons his kidnapping actions since Frank's parents are separated. With school closed, Tom and Mrs. Livingston contact the police to find the boy's identity and family. The policeman (Bill Dana, "Get Smart") feels the boy is safe where he is until the parents contact them. Soon they are visited by Duke (Pat Morita, "Happy Days", "The Karate Kid") and Kendis Komosori (Miko Mayama), the boy's parents. Through their turbulence, Eddie begins learning some life lessons.

A child's naivety can be refreshing. Here we see how much a child cares for someone that they feel they can easily problem solve, unaware of the consequences. A cute, funny episode evolving more dramatically as it progressed.
