Vincent Price (who played Rabbi Gershom Seixas in this episode) was not only not Jewish, he was (according to his daughter Victoria's 1999 memoir) a childhood antisemite who was attracted to Nazism and supported Hitler during the early 1930s. However, he changed his mind and became anti-Nazi after becoming friends with a group of intellectuals that included Jewish writers such as Dorothy Parker and Lillian Hellman.
