I like that opening where Casey flips her jiu-jitsu trainer, showing she's ready for the toughest assignment. And she gets it as an undercover inmate where there are no men. Dewhurst as boss con Taffy shows real fire, so we know Casey's up against it since she's not taking orders from any fellow con. Then there's pretty Nettleton as Taffy's stooge, Lois, and Feury as the other stooge, Paula. So did one or a combination of the three murder their fellow convict. In that sense, the entry amounts to something of a whodunit. And Casey better find out soon or the toughies will close in. At the same time, defying them turns out to be a risky way to get a lead. As expected, Garland's persuasive as a tough con, making this a suspenseful inversion of the usual male prison, and with a surprise ending .
