Fashion Model Casey
dougdoepke2 May 2019
Sort of a whodunit as Casey impersonates a fashion model to find out who killed a lovely cohort. Looks like it was the owner's ne'r-do-well son, but is it. The dressing room scenes, I think, are the best. There the girls talk frankly, especially the feisty Betty (Russell), and in stages of undress unusual for TV of the time period. Also, actor Donath gets an emotive number of minutes. Too bad there aren't more NY location scenes, but all in all, it's an entertaining, if unexceptional, half-hour.

Great episode and great series

Warning: Spoilers
Some of the scenes were corny now, but for that time I can see they were pretty cool. Beverly Garland as Casey was both beautiful and a great actress. She really sold the thought cop role when she had to, but was kind and lovely when she had to.

Garland was outstanding in this episode in her role as a model. With her beauty, she looked like the perfect person for the role.

As a police officer, Garland questioned the suspect like a seasoned officer. By having the suspect reenact how he found the dead body, she made him relive how he really felt about the victim...his hate and contempt he had for the female victim because she laughed at his romantic advances.

Dressed for the Kill
Prismark1017 June 2021
Casey Jones goes undercover as a fashion model in the garment district of New York.

A model was found dead in a frenzied knife attack.

The factory owner's spoilt son seems to be the likely suspect.

However someone is a little too keen to stitch up the son.

There are some nice scenes of Casey engaging in spiteful gossip with the other models.

The psychology of getting the actual murderer to reveal themself was a bit hammy and ham fisted.
