When the story begins, Rob accidentally marks up the living room wall with a permanent marker. When he tries to remove it, he ends up making the problem worse. Later, he tries touching up the wall with paint...but it still looks terrible and the Petries will need to hire a painter. The problem is that they hire a very strange but likable guy...and as the days pass, the painter does all sorts of things...none of which include repainting the living room! And, if the guy ever finishes, they Petries have no idea how much he's going to charge.
This is an enjoyable episode, though it's not particularly a funny one. This is not a complaint...it's still worth seeing but isn't a comedy masterpiece...just a nice episode.
