Rob, referring to Sally and Thomas' first date he says, "You see what he's doing to him out there.", not "...what SHE'S doing to him.
Due to an unfortunate error, Rob, referring to Sally and Thomas' first date he says, "You see what he's doing to him out there."
When Laura brings her plan of playing matchmaker for Sally and her cousin Thomas to Rob, she says the line "I certainly don't see what harm there would be in introducing her to, say, my cousin, Thomas." However, if we watch (and listen) we only see actress Mary Tyler Moore say "...introducing her to my cousin Thomas." The word "say" is missing from the image portion of the film. It could be assumed that the original soundtrack portion might have been lost with time, and the ADR process was used to put the sequence right again (one can tell the difference in the audio recordings by the lack of background noise in the ADR track as opposed to the original track).
Buddy Sorrell stirs his coffee with a pencil then attempts to toss the pencil back in the holder with the others. However, he inadvertently tosses it down too hard, eraser end first, and it bounces out of the container and onto the floor. You can just see the actor, Morey Amsterdam, give a sideways look as the pencil falls to the floor.
