"Sol and the Sponsor" begins with Rob compulsively preparing for an important dinner with a sponsor and his wife. To Rob, everything has to be perfect...and his job might just depend on it.

Sol Pomeroy (Marty Ingles) is an old Army buddy (seen in an earlier episode from season one) who is about as subtle as a stripper at a Baptist wedding! He's fun...but he's certainly NOT the sort of person you want when you are having a dinner party. So what's next?
This episode might not appeal to folks who hate embarrassing humor, though it's not that bad when it comes to embarrassment. I liked it and how it all worked out for the better by the end. Well worth seeing.
