Mindless, but amusing

One of the more troublesome things about the Deva arc is that the Devas themselves are not very interesting. The concept, as later revealed, is neat and most of them sport great monster designs, but with perhaps 3 exceptions they're just destructive and smug. The reason I bring this up is that it was so apparent in the last episode, and even more so here. Sinduramon, with his ability to grow by absorbing electricity, is built up for much of the running length only to be dispatched in a fight that is, ironically, low on energy. Aside from that, the episode is pure filler. That said, it is more entertaining than the last one, and at least does have an idea of where it is heading. Sure, the idea of Takato and Henry going on a school campout despite the fact that there are more powerful monsters appearing every day is questionable, and Henry's disregarding of a bio-emerging digimon because of its size is groan inducing. But, the setting and situation provide a fair number of amusing moments. Impmon being too insecure to admit he wants to join in on the fun is humorous, and the absurd, inexplicable possessed owl actually made me laugh several times. It's also fun to see more of the antics of Nami Asaji and the persistent Mori, even if the whole "headache" joke grows old quickly.
