- Joel teams up on a science project with a nerdy student to get credit. Knowing this student will one day become a billionaire, Joel suddenly sets his sights higher than just winning the science fair.
- Joel freaks out when he finds out that they have to turn in the biology notebooks, in which he has written nothing. His only hope now to not fail, is to become top three in the city science fair project. That is not an easy thing to do when you have no talent in biology. So he decides to join the future science genius Andrew Wages in his project. He also finds out that he might as well can become friends with him so he can avoid worrying about money in the future. Andrew also gets surprisingly well along with Isabelle, so Joel decides to use her as a "hook". Meanwhile, the Larsens tries to steal some cable TV from the Nachman house to their own house.—The Norwegian Rocker
- The only way Joel can pass his biology class - and not have to repeat his freshman year - is by entering the City Science Fair and placing in the top three, thus earning himself enough extra credit for his class. Using his knowledge of the future, Joel approaches another student whom he knows always wins the science fair, so that they can partner up. Andrew is also a billionaire in the future, thanks to inventing satellite technology, and soon Joel is dreaming of more than just winning the science fair. Meanwhile, the Larsens experience the wonder of ill-gotten cable television.—kep315
