Vivacious LeAnn Hunley isn't credited as part of the 'show opener', her credit is hidden way at the back, even after having appeared for most of this season, and in a potentially important role. With this episode, Cassie Yates (yawn!) appears out of nowhere, and gets full honors. So did Terri Garber (even bigger yawn!) from Day One. Now, I don't care even a little bit about these other two, LeAnn's the far, far more valuable asset to the show. A jewel should be properly show-cased.
Little Jessica Player can do cute. But she cannot even pretend to be asleep. It was such a horrendous performance, that strained little face, I'm almost through cheering for her! Just kidding! Just kidding! :) but come on...
This is not the episode of choice for Heather Locklear fans. All Heather Locklear fans, there is very, very little of our heroine. She answers a crank call. I put up the Quote, and that's about it.
For the most part, this is a morose episode, concerning finding a donor heart for little Krystina, by way of a friend of Dex whose little daughter is brain-dead after a car accident... COME ON, it's DYNASTY... People tuned in for the bling. I bought the DVDs for the glam. This episode, almost nothing sweet, mostly just bitter dregs. Okay, I understand, it's necessary story-line, but still, hey, I don't care for this episode, which is why there are so few Quotes (July 2017). The other episodes of this season waited eons for me to brighten them up a bit here, but for this one, aw man... it ain't no fun, and to quote Krystina, "I don't like it here."
