  Dimitri : [laconically]  You're not going to cry, are you? If it's next week, you're still on time.

  Dimitri : Hey, my handkerchief.

  Carmen : You must drive us there.

  Dimitri : DDT Cars is not a taxi service. I can rent you a car, though.

  Carmen : How much?

  Dimitri : One car's not enough?

  Carmen : How much do you ask for it?

  Dimitri : 500 francs.

  Carmen : Rent that car, Xavier.

  Carmen : That's pure theft!

  [he walks to a light blue Ford Anglia oldtimer] 

  Dimitri : Voilà. I still have to fix the seat but I'll give you a 50 francs discount. I'll get a purchase receipt.

  Xavier : Carmen. Those pants, they...

  Carmen : Here - Shoot a staple in it.

  [she gives him a stapler]

  [Xavier hurts himself with the stapler; Dimitri grins]

  [Boma interrupts him] 

  Balthasar "the Ball" Boma : It's the practical test.

  Pico : Stealth exercises. Xavier may not be intercepted with his section by De Kroet's section.

  Oscar : Dear lord.

  Pico : Ah so you know him? Watch out, that's not easy with that biter.

  Dimitri : To flush my misery. The Corporal still hasn't paid me for that rental car. Let alone my daytime hours.

  Oscar : Which daytime hours?

  Dimitri : You know, the hours I spent with the gendarmerie. For a self-employed person, that's a pure waste of time. Time is money.

  Balthasar "the Ball" Boma : What do you mean? You were only there at night.

  Dimitri : That's double rate, huh. Night work, you know. Where is he?

  Pico : Xavier? He has an army exam in a while.

  Dimitri : Where?

  Balthasar "the Ball" Boma : Behind the barracks.

  Dimitri : Really? I know the place like the back of my hand. I also did my tests there. He doesn't stand a chance.

  Oscar : Why not?

  Dimitri : It's too open. You can't hide anywhere, and certainly not Xavier with his conspicuous head.

  Pico : If Xavier doesn't succeed this time, Carmen files for divorce.

  Oscar : Then we're without a goalkeeper and he'll drink even more.

  Balthasar "the Ball" Boma : Don't worry. I'll handle it.

  Pico : Handle it? I think Xavier needs real help this time.

  Dimitri : And what fool will do that, uh?

  [Pico ponders, then turns around] 

  Pico : You will.

  Dimitri : Me?

  Pico : You know the terrain like the back of your hand, you said.

  [they all look at him, he looks unsure]
