A sad and grim tale
Paularoc24 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
As with each episode I've seen, it opens with Seton saying "This is Fabian of Scotland Yard." Fabian is the lead investigator in a series of murders in which all of the victims have been drown in a bath tub. The latest victim is a 27 year old insurance agent. When a colleague tells Fabian that there is no discernible motive to the murders because the culprit is a psycho, Fabian replies "Even a psycho has to have a psycho motive." And indeed, Fabian does find out what the victims had in common and that the motive lies in a many years ago accidental death. The detective work is very good even though the last minute rescue of a potential victim is somewhat implausible. As usual, the real Inspector Fabian provides concluding remarks.
