A Thought in the Dark (#4.14)
ComedyFan201030 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Ted and Laura introduce Urkel to Ted's cousin Myra to get his attention of Laura and give them the opportunity to date. They go on the double date to a concert.

It is a pretty good episode. Myra is a great character, beautiful for a nerd like Steve and also very intelligent. She actually would be a great match for Steve even though he doesn't see it.

I absolutely love the scene where we can hear all their thoughts. The parts about the zit and Woldo's thoughts in it were especially hilarious.

And I really liked the scene where Judy gets out the parts of her mom's ruined dress out of the bag

Introducing Myra
gcanfield-2972719 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Myra was introduced as Ted's cousin. I'm not sure if this was Ted's last appearance in the series, but he's not seen at all in the five seasons that follow. Myra stays with the show through the final episode, but her connection to Ted is never again mentioned. This show was notorious for these very noticeable lapses in logic and continuity. In this episode, Myra's annoying personality is established. Laura sets Steve up with Myra, and the plan backfires. Steve becomes more determined to win Laura's heart. Notice the seating arrangement at the concert. Steve is between Laura and Myra. He's as close to Laura as he is the girl Laura is trying to push him onto. Interesting.
