Eddie immediately realizes that his friendship with Steve is too valuable waste away and tells the jock off to get lost. Meanwhile, Carl orders a peanut helmet from a shopping network, where you're allowed to try a product for 30 days without paying a single cent. However, Richie and his friend (Lil' G) go overboard when they order toys from the exact channel. Eventually, Carl and Rachel sets the boys straight for what happened.—Anonymous
- Urkel's friendship with Eddie takes center stage. When a slick talking, college jock invites Eddie to join a college fraternity. He says that he can join under one condition: Tell Steve to get lost or else he can't join. He gets rid of him at the party and hurts him, much to the jock's delight. Laura knows how distraught Urkel is and is upset with her brother for what he did.
Meanwhile, Carl orders a peanut helmet from a shopping network, where you're allowed to try a product for 30 days without paying a single cent. The next day, Eddie is eating lunch when Harriette and Laura come home with groceries. Harriette reminds him everything else is his except for cash. She leaves and he goes back to eating his lunch. Laura confronts him and gives him a huge dose of reality check in hurting Urkel. Eddie tries to defend his decision, by reminding her that he's still in high school and he can't keep following him around by wrecking his chances to join one of the most prestige fraternitiy at his college. Laura is undaunted and reminds him that even though Steve was annoying, he values his friendship with them. She also mentions that she would rather have Urkel as a friend because he's loyal to them.
At his apartment, the jock comes by to give Eddie his signature jacket and tells him that his now apart of Beta Chi Fraternity. However, he immediately realizes that his friendship with Steve is too valuable waste away and tells the jock off to get lost. The jock tries to tell him that Urkel is a nerd who will hinder his chances of being much more popular. Eddie doesn't care and sets him straight for what happened to Steve. He tells him he would rather have Urkel as a friend over joining a selfish fraternity like them, because unlike them, he's loyal and caring towards his friends. The jock leaves, but not without a few unkind words to Steve who was preparing to give back Eddie's stuff.
