- Derek Galloway, a writer who's a client of Al's show's up at his offfice and gives Al a script which he wants Al to read and tell him what he thinks of it. Al tells him to give him a few days. But Galloway tells him he needs to tell by tommorrow mentioning he has a deadline. Al promises he will. And as he leaves he tells Al to read it thoroughly and not to let his secretary read it. Al then goes to Teddy and tells him to read the script and to give him a synopsis. The next day shows up with the synopsis and tells Al he liked the script. Al then meets with Galloway and tells him what he thinks of the script which Galloway records. As Galloway is leaving Teddy approaches him and tells him that he read the script and that he liked it which amazes Galloway. Teddy tells him he knows a studio head and if he wants he could give him his script. Galloway tells him don't bother. Teddy while taking with Richie decides to do it. He goes to Al's office and finds the script in the trash. Later Teddy is called by Mr. Werkfinder. He goes to his office and finds him and Al there. They ask him if he gave a script to the studio head. They tell him that the script is a piece plagiarism--that it's the Academy Award winner, Mr. Smith goes to Washington. In addition to giving the script, he violated protocolm because Galloway is Al's client. That's when Werkfinder tells Teddy he's fired. The next morning Teddy's at home and getting ready to go to the office to clear out his things. He then looks at the paper and that's when he sees an article. It seems like Galloway was not trying to pass a script that wasn't his but doing research on an article he is writing, wherein he tries to show that agents couldn't tell a good script if it was in front of them. So he took Mr. Smith and made a dew changes and took it to nearly 30 agents. He says that noone knew it was Mr. Smith and only Ted thought it was a good script while Al whom he works with called the script fluffy and inconsequential. Al made a few suggestions like having a car chase scene through the White House rose garden and his recommendation for the lead role played by Jimmy Stewart in the original is The Fat Boys. Al tries to sneak into his office hoping to be unseen. When Teddy arrives he is lauded. He finds Mr. Werkfinder waiting for him. He starts by telling Teddy he doesn't trust people who don't occasionally make mistakes. That's when Teddy tries to apologize but that's Werkfinder says he was talking about him. He then asks Teddy if he will stay. Teddy says he will. That's when Werkfinder leaves and goes to Al's office and finds him sitting in the dark. He then asks Al about the rose garden how he saw that happening. That's when Al tries to explain.
