In sort of a twist on one of the three plots in the pilot, we have a man who wants to hunt the most challenging game ... another man. The hunter is Chuck Conners, who often played these heavy roles late in his career ... his heroic roles in The Rifleman and Branded long forgotten.
His target is Roarke, but instead of a hunt out in the wild, he simply tries to catch Roarke in silly death traps around Fantasy Island's main complex. The very first one should have been enough to arrest him for attempted murder and lock him up, but that would have been the end of this extremely silly story.
In the other story, Helen Reddy is hung up on an aspiring fashion designer and her fantasy is to fall "out of love" with him? Again, really dumb, and nothing in the story interested me in the slightest.
