- Idaho salesman Harry Simpson enters the world of gambling when he changes places with his double, while Tattoo promises Sister Veronica of California that she'll win a wine tasting content before he discovers her wine is undrinkable.
- "Lookalikes": Harry Simpson arrives on the island looking for a more exciting life. He's convinced he must have a double somewhere, and that the double's life has to be more interesting than his own if only because it's different. Roarke agrees to grant his fantasy and duly has him exchange places with one Vince Brandon -- a professional gambler. At first he's amazed and delighted by Vince's yacht and high-living lifestyle, till he finds out how Vince came by it from Vince's nephew, Jimmy, for whom Vince is guardian. Harry also shortly discovers that Jimmy is older than his years and too cynical by far, so he sets out to spend time with Jimmy and show him how a normal boy lives. Then two bookies looking for Vince naturally mistake Harry for him and make some threats, whereby Jimmy explains that Vince owes them half a million dollars. Harry has to come up with the money or face consequences. Though he doesn't approve of Jimmy's habit of helping his uncle cheat, he realizes he may have no choice if he wants to win the money to pay off the bet. But Roarke finds out about their plans and bans Jimmy from the casino for being underage, leaving Harry to trust to luck to win the money. Fortunately, he does. Vince, meantime, has discovered what's going on and gotten upset with Harry for slipping so easily into his shoes; but when he sees how Jimmy and Harry have bonded, he agrees that his lifestyle is no way for a kid to live, and allows Harry to adopt Jimmy. "The Winemaker": Sister Veronica has come to the island hoping to win the Fantasy Island Wine-Tasting Contest with the wine grown by her convent; the award money will rescue their financially-strapped parish. However, when Roarke and Tattoo sample her wine, it tastes horrible! Roarke announces that since Tattoo has promised the sister she'll win the contest, it's up to him to make sure her fantasy gets fulfilled. Unable to think of any other way to do it, Tattoo sneaks into the cellar where all the contest wines are being stored and switches labels on a bottle of Veronica's wine and a bottle of superior French burgundy. Thus insured, Veronica makes it to the contest finals. Roarke, suspicious, takes Tattoo to Veronica's bungalow and confesses the problem with the wine and what Tattoo did to prevent its disqualification; Veronica discourages him from further such machinations, assuring him that "all will be well". In the meantime, a quarreling couple of vineyard owners have tasted the mislabeled wine, and, thinking it's Veronica's, decide the only way they can win is by switching labels between one of their bottles and one of hers! This, of course, results in Veronica's wine being mistaken for theirs, while the bottle they applied their label to contains some of the original undrinkable beverage. When the switcheroo causes the judge to award the contest prize to Sister Veronica, the vineyard owners protest, own up to what they've done, and wind up disqualifying Veronica for her garbage wine and themselves for trying to cheat. However, Roarke has good news: the reason the wine tasted so bad was because the grapes had been grown atop an oil well, which will save Sister Veronica's parish after all.
