Kathy enters an essay contest where the prize is a meeting with movie star Greer Garson.
A very good Kathy episode. There is a funny fantasy sequence where Kathy meets Garson, the star is shown as a queen. Kathy's fantasy is interrupted when Bud walks in calls her Bird Brain. Kathy gets the measles and cannot meet Garson, so Father volunteers to go and get her autograph. Garson and Robert Young had worked together on the 1949 film "That Forsythe Woman". Garson has a funny scene near the end where she acts out a part from a civil war movie she had just made (though in reality the movie does not exist).
