In the pure tradition of war features glorifying the US Navy and its seek of revenge after the traumatizing attack in Honolulu, 1941 december 7th. Well this story is more than flat and boring, bringing nothing exceptional for those searching new material about this period. maybe a bit of character interest, but that's all. Fred Sears was not a master in this field, only a yes man wondering about his bills to pay by the end of the month. You can't avoid the footage stuff, stock shots and so on concerning the Japanese attack on the Pearl Harbor fleet.
