Teen angst. Oh the drama.

Warning: Spoilers
Pat O'Brien is upset to find out that daughter Margaret O'Brien is dating a boy with no ambition (Richard Jaeckel) and she threatens to run off with him the moment she turns 18. This causes her very emotional mother, Maureen Sullivan to have a heart attack, and O'Brien begs his daughter to wait until he's 20 to consider getting married. The way this is written makes the early soap operas around this time look like Eugene O'Neill. The three veteran actors are all all over-the-top and out of step with the realism that Jaeckel brings to his part. In its attempt to be modern, it comes out to be ridiculous. The only interesting element is an appearance by Irene Dunne, two years after her last featire film, to announce her own upcoming appearance on the show.
