A woman accused of murdering her husband is condemned to be executed by guillotine, in the France of the early 1800's. She is helped in escape and take refuge in the house of a man who will try to help her, but at certain conditions. Not necessarily what you could think. No, that's where this unusual topic becomes interesting. But the ending is unfortunately cheesy.
