Tim Collier spots a young woman crawling on top of a bridge, believed to be about to jump, he chases after her and tries to help, when distracted, Marie runs away, he searches Paris for her.
I can assume that a big chunk of the show's budget went on this episode, lots of terrific location work around France, it looks wonderful.
The story is a good one, would many people domestically have been aware of The problems Algerian immigrants had in France at that time, it's a very interesting situation.
Considering the relatively short running time, it pops along very quickly, it's very well paced, and as soon as you get into it, the solution is found. This is one of the better episodes I'd suggest.
Frank Thornton, here he is once again, the man was prolific, I'm watching multiple shows from the time, and he just keeps on popping up.
8/10.
