Ryder is hired by a well known Italian gangster called Nick Pompey to track down his wife and child, who have been taken, if Ryder succeeds, his prize is Pompey's accounting books, tests that will certainly convict Pompey for at least a decade.
The story is good, one you could easily imagine as the basis for a Martin Scorsese film, the outcome however is moderately effective I would suggest. I may be wrong, but it feels as though the show is running out of steam somewhat, the later offerings aren't a patch on the early episodes.
Reed De Rouen does a fine job as Pompey, he plays the part of The Italian villain pretty well.
I loved the shots of Italy, look out for The Fiats Lambrettas and Campari advertising boards, this one does at least have the authenticity in its favour.
6/10.
