I Am Your Worst Nightmare Come True
richard.fuller131 December 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Now missing from this cast list is, oddly enough, Conchata Farrell as the lawyer who goes up against Frank and his lawyer fellow, can't recall the character's name now.

An elderly black man had been killed in a car crash. Frank's bar ws being sued as having served the man too many drinks.

Farrell was the lawyer representing the man's family. Looking like a Sunday school church pianist, Farrell played the southern woman with no southern accent but did all the behavior, mannerisms and intelligence perfectly.

She believed Frank, who likewise was a lawyer, had no understanding of much of what she was saying, until she was informed he did know.

From there, she revealed that the man killed in the crash had a widow, Olive Varden (Beah Richards guest Emmy win).

Olive Varden had worked for Farrell's family for years.

Farrell: (Laughing) "I spit up on her," (then serious) "My mother died in her arms," From there, Farrell goes into a blinding calm and serious delivery of how she is going to take them for everything they got to provide for Olive Varden, and Frank's lawyer knows this woman can do it.

This episode then proceeded into how frank's Lawyer, a rather inept man, managed to figure out that Mr. Varden had indeed premeditated his suicide to provide for his family.

With Beah Richards' performance of how "at the Chez, they always treated you like ladies and gentlemen" it is divulged that her late husband was a foolish man and he did it deliberately.

No idea why Farrell isn't listed for this episode.

quite honestly, I thought she got a guest Emmy nod here as well, but it seems she didn't.

This appearance did lead to her LA Law tenure.
