A little romance
bkoganbing24 October 2020
The Thompson-Gentry Circus is in need of meat for both the people and the animals. When Richard Jaeckel tries to acquire some from of the ranches, he's sent packing.

But when John Derek goes over he puts on the old charm for the tomboyish female owner Carolyn Jones. Jones was the only child of a widower rancher and she's not been much acquainted with feminine ways. Derek is the first to treat her like a lady.

The plot has elements of The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Annie Get Your Gun. Other roles of importance are ranchhand Adam Kennedy who also sees Jones's feminine side and likes what he sees. And foreman Robert F. Simonwho was the foreman to Jones's father and who provides sage advice to Derek and Jones.
