"Every life is a life worth saving" Kimble says as he ironically tries to save Lieutenant Girard from bleeding to death. Girard has tracked Dr. Kimble down at a farm where he's joined up with a group of migrant workers. The lawman and the fugitive meet in a rare face to face, and it appears Kimble is going back to prison. But before he can get his man taken away, the workers and Kimble convince him to let the Doctor treat a very ill worker's baby. Richard cures the baby, but unfortunately for Girard a viscious wind storm has brewed up which prevents anyone one from going anywhere, and causes part of the barn to cave in on and seriously injure the Marshall. Richard pleads among the workers, who by now have a dim view of the capturer, for a blood donor to save Girard's life. They refuse untill finally he convinces his female admirerer to be the one. Kimble's noble work is done and he escapes with the help of the workers and the advantage Girard is too weekend to chase him. Farm worker Jonesie plays guitar and sings ballad phrases and verses coloring each turn of action.
