- Narrator: [Act I Opening Narration. Viewers see Richard Kimble working as a laborer at the Konstantine Brothers Warehouse] For Richard Kimble, a thousand names, a thousand jobs. Here, he is Johnny Sherman, warehouse worker. And as always for a Fugitive, the load is a heavy one.
- Narrator: [Epilog Closing Narration. Viewers see Richard Kimble aboard a ferry, at night, leaving the harbor] The past two years have been an endless procession of names, most of them forgotten. But one name will be remembered. For a Fugitive is a lonely man - and Gus Priamos has been a friend.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: A country I don't know. A language I don't speak. I'd have a better chance here.
- [pause]
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Thanks for letting me use your name. I'd have been proud to wear it, Gus.
- Gus Priamos: You promise, huh? We got a deal...?
- Sophie: Sure, Gus. We got a deal.
- Gus Priamos: One good thing, Sophie. One good thing you do in your life. I will remember you.
- Gus Priamos: Hey Johnny, it's gonna be a joke on this fellow. He's going to look for you here. And you're going to be over there having a good time. Girls, music, wine.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: He's smart, Gus. He's wrong, but he's smart. Get extradition papers; he'd come get me himself.
- Travel Agency Clerk: I've flown to Europe 3 times. It's easy.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Want to come along and hold my hand?
- Travel Agency Clerk: Oh, I bet you say that to all the girls.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: Just the pretty ones.
- Gus Priamos: Are you sure she's going to remember you?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: [Nods] Yeah, even pretty girls don't get told they're pretty every day.
